Classical Landscapes

Classical Landscapes

“Park -” – no unity of design any more or a homogeneous whole, with a form following defined uses dictating the way of acting.
But “Park -” – the unconnected images of paradigms of our society'’s understanding of nature, existing side by side; the tamed nature, paradise or Arcadia, the freedom being found within the wild nature, the regularity of natural cycles or the particular detail; infinity and ubiquity of ““Nature“”, deserts caused by civilization reanimated; the power for both, demolition and rehabilitation – – such antithetic ideals ““Park“” should be able to convey.
