Day care centre for children of the Alois Goldhofer Foundation, Memmingen

Open spaces for the conversion of a private villa and extension for a Reggio day care centre with kindergarten

Discovering, exploring, inventing, expanding knowledge together…
The Reggio concept includes the conscious use of the existing environment, natural resources and recycled materials.
This can also be experienced in the building and outdoor facilities: The garden with its old and valuable trees can be accessed via both floors and offers a variety of experiences with its diversity. Children’s imagination and creativity can unfold freely in the experimental fields, garden plots, sand and mud areas. Materials from the existing building are also used in the design of the outdoor area.
