On 5 July 2025, around 20 roofs throughout Munich that are not normally accessible to the public will be open for viewing. As part of mostly free guided tours, you will learn about the respective roof usage, its history and special features.
One highlight is sure to be the roof of the new SAP Arena in the Olympic Park, designed by Latz+Partner (guided tour from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.). In the afternoon (from 1.30 p.m.), we will showcase another outstanding project by our firm, Heckenstaller Park.

General information on roof utilisation, green roofs and photovoltaics on green roofs, the advantages of green roofs and the goals pursued by the City of Munich with green roofs is available at the central information point at Fat Cat (formerly Gasteig). The cultural roof garden can also be visited there on this day.
