Peter Latz to recieve the PREMIOCAGLIARIPAESAGGIO 2017 for his lifetime achivement.

In July 2017 the city of Cagliari hosted the CagliariPaesaggio, a varied event programme on the topic of rural, urban, culture and nature. Conclusion and highlight was a three-day symposium with national and international speakers and discussion participants and the ceremony for the Premio CagliariPaesaggio 2017 awarded to Peter Latz for his lifetime achievement. Christophe Girot delivered the laudatory speech and Peter Latz thanked the organisers and the head of department for culture and public open space, Paolo Frau, as well as Joao Nunes and Michael Jakob and many of his committed colleagues in Sardinia. He showed his appreciation of the exceptionally beautiful prize, a “lozenges and stars” rug woven by Sardinian women, by reading selected texts from his book RUSTRED.
